I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm living in the past
Of a time where life was simple and everyday didn't seem like your last
Rewinding back to feeling that summertime breeze
When my heart was completely open and worn on my sleeve

I miss the days when love's blinded eye could see

Is this a sign?

The Strength Of My Heart

Normally I handle things with with the world on my back
Love in my heart
Danger in my lap
But lately I've noticed life has a way of twisting
Rocking back and forth like a boat that's sinking
I wanna break free but I cant get loose
My mind losing the race
I cant get through...
The light at the end seems to taunt me every time
But its my motivation to keep going...
To survive...
The heart will always be stronger than the mind
So I look within myself to find my strength
Never through my thoughts
Always through my heart
And through love...

Your temptation is addicting and I can't explain it
It's like I'm on a drug and I can't escape it
You know I gotta man and he's the love of my life
I know you gotta girl and she's practically your wife
But when my mind wanders I sometimes think of you
About all the crazy things that we could possibly do

The thoughts they feel so wrong
But I can't deny the fact that something's going on
